Donut Variety Pack
It’s all about donuts this week! ❤️🍩
A few days ago, I posted a question on Instagram asking friends and family to share what their favorite donut is. First off, I received an overwhelming flood of responses - thanks everyone! With all that’s going on and being inspired by diversity, I decided to make a variety of donuts with different colors and flavors!
You have Classic Glaze, Lemon, Chocolate, Vanilla Strawberry, and my favorite - Chocolate Oreo! This recipe was really fun to make. Let your creativity come out!
Enjoy! yeeee
What you need:
1 cup all-purpose flour (spoon flour in the measuring cup and level off)
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
1 egg
1/3 cup + 1 1/2 tablespoon whole milk
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
FOR THE VANILLA GLAZE:
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 small pinch salt
2 tablespoons milk
The Deets
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease donut pan with non-stick spray or brush with butter
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together egg, milk, butter and vanilla extract.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and whisk until incorporated. Don’t to over-mix the batter.
Fill a sandwich ziplock bag with the batter. Cut a corner off the bottom of the bag and pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling 3 ∕ 4 of the way full.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 8-9 minutes.
Remove from the oven and transfer the donuts onto a wire rack until cool enough to handle but still warm.
While still warm, dip donuts into your glaze.
Enjoy!
